DISCOVER THE MARLBOROUGH WINE REGION
At Brancott Estate, we see wine differently.
On the tip of the South Island, nestled between the Richmond Ranges and the Wither Hills, is a special patch of earth. Since 1973, when our founders ignored conventional wisdom that the region was too cold for grapes, Marlborough has been transformed into New Zealand’s most well-known wine region.
In 1975 we planted Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. These two varietals fell in love with their new home, rewarding us with wines that exploded with flavours never experienced before. Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc has since become New Zealand’s most successful wine style, changing New Zealand’s wine industry forever.
Marlborough’s unique combination of warm, sunny days and cool, crisp nights work together to create wines with bright fruit flavours and crisp fresh acidity; the unmistakable flavour of Marlborough.
As well as Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, Marlborough also excels in the creation of distinctive Pinot Gris, Riesling, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Gris.
